Dumarey and the way back from China to Italy
The Dumarey Group has completed the reshoring of a major production line, moving it from China to its facility in Pisa, Italy

The Dumarey Group has its heart and brain in Europe and has become the protagonist of a reshoring operation from China to Italy. Two years ago, when the Group was still known as Punch, it decided to acquire the assets and plants of Vitesco Technologies Italy. Meanwhile, the company has been integrated into Dumarey Flowmotion Technologies.
This marked a significant turn towards mechatronics, aimed at integrating the product portfolio of the Belgian Group, which already has a strong presence in Italy. These were the foundations for the transfer of injector production from the Middle Kingdom to the Pisa area, a city famous worldwide for its iconic leaning tower.
Dumarey announces on LinkedIn the move from China
And so, the post appeared on the Dumarey Group’s LinkedIn page, which you can find below, or by clicking on this link, which will take you to LinkedIn. “We are proud to announce the successful transfer of a major injector production line from China to our Dumarey plant in Pisa, Italy.

The line was carefully dismantled, packed into 56 crates, and shipped in 14 containers from the Port of Dalian to the Port of La Spezia. This marks a significant for our company as we continue to strengthen and consolidate our manufacturing operations in the region.
The transferred line is a fully automated production system for our XL5.1 DI injector, designed for standard gasoline ICE and hybrid engine applications, supporting direct injection at 500 bar fuel pressure.
A special thanks to Giovanni Petroni, project leader of this major activity, and to all our colleagues whose commitment made it a success.“
