Some clear indications emerged at Samoter B2Press: in line with other sectors—from agriculture and marine to on-road—the transition relies heavily on the renewal of the internal combustion engine fleet. This modernization also involves compact construction machinery, which was previously considered the most susceptible to electrification. Some are pulling the diesel-electric formula out of the hat, if only to relieve the primary engine from the load of the implements. The other trend concerns digitalization, which will find in Artificial Intelligence an accelerating factor for its implementation.
