The Carraro Group produces culture
Carraro's culture is also expressed through the three-year agreement supporting the Teatro Stabile del Veneto

It’s an echo that reverberates far beyond the foyer, the one linking the Carraro Group with the Fondazione Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale. In fact, an important three-year sponsorship agreement has been signed between the two entities. The Carraro Group has already been supporting the activities of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto for quite some time through various initiatives.
Carraro Prize for the Theater of the Future
The relationship between the Carraro Group and the Fondazione Teatro Stabile del Veneto is growing stronger. In fact, an important three-year sponsorship agreement has been recently signed between the two organizations. For some time now, the Carraro Group has been close to the activities of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto with various initiatives, such as, among the others, the creation in 2024 of the “Carraro Prize for the Theater of the Future” dedicated to the most deserving graduates of the Carlo Goldoni Theater Academy. An award, which will also be renewed for 2025, designed to enhance and grow young talents.
This new agreement always keeps an eye to the younger generations and is in fact linked to the promotion of the TSV project “Adopt a school”, which aims to involve 200 students from technical and professional institutes in the province of Padua in participating in the TSV theatrical matinees. This is in parallel with the organization of a series of guided tours of some of the Carraro Group’s plants, including the one where THE is produced.
Carraro and culture straight from the protagonists themselves
“For years, our Group has collaborated in various ways with the world of theater, from independent entities to the Teatro Stabile del Veneto. It is a great pleasure for us to strengthen such relationship today with the TSV Foundation through this new three-year agreement. Supporting theatrical art means recognizing its prominent cultural role, which is often not taken for granted. Doing so in our territory, with a particular focus on young people, is especially significant for us due to the positive social impact it generates. Additionally, we must not forget the opportunities that arise in terms of employer branding for our people. – stated Tomaso Carraro, Vice Chairman and Chief CSR Officer of the Carraro Group – This time, with the decision to support the “Adopt a School” project, on one hand, we will enable many students to get closer to the stage, and on the other, we will introduce them to some of our company realities. Here too, in some way, the curtain will rise on our industrial reality, and thanks to the voices of many Carraro people, it will be possible to understand up close what it means to “go on stage” every day in our plants. A great opportunity for enrichment”.
“For the next three years, the Carraro Group and the Teatro Stabile del Veneto will walk together. – added Giampiero Beltotto, Chairman of the Fondazione Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale – We already know the direction we’re heading to supporting theatrical arts in our Region, with particular attention to young people. It is by no means a given that a leading industrial group would choose to commit to promoting major cultural initiatives. That’s why I wish to personally thank the Carraro Group for supporting us over the next three years. This commitment is especially focused on the ‘Adopt a School’ project, through which TSV has, for years, brought schoolchildren to theatre to spread culture among the youngest and look toward future generations”.
The Carraro Group and the Teatro Stabile del Veneto
Within the Carraro Group there has always been a particular sensitivity to the world of arts, music and theater. Specifically, with regard to the latter discipline, important relationships have been consolidated over the years with the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, an institution with which there is a constant relationship.
Among the most significant events that in recent years saw Carraro and the TSV side by side:
- In 2019 the staging inside the Carraro plant in Campodarsego of the show Fabbrica, written by the author Ascanio Celestini and focused on the history of the Italian workers. This event, produced by the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, was interpreted by the students of the local Theater School of Excellence.
- In 2024, the creation of the “Carraro Prize for the theater of the future” dedicated to the most deserving graduates of the Carlo Goldoni Theater Academy. An initiative aimed at rewarding young talents, in line with what happens in the company with the aim, moreover, of creating a virtuous relationship between business and culture.
All these projects are in addition to numerous other Corporate Social Responsibility activities that the Group is promoting in various areas and are also part of the new Carraro Cultura, launched in Spring 2025, aimed at enhancing all the initiatives that Carraro has always carried out to describe itself in an unconventional way through the arts and to make people understand how culture can be a driver of growth, innovation and identity for the company.
