Driven by the intra-group resources and dynamism of the Daikin Group, Hydreco Hydraulics has opened its new production site in India. It is based in Karnataka, Bangalore, one of the powerhouses of the Indian economy.

This new facility not only boosts our production capabilities, but also allows us to localize engineering, improve lead times, and serve our customers with greater agility,” said Katie McColl, CEO of Hydreco. “The new site confirms our confidence in the technical capabilities, energy, and strategic relevance of the Indian industrial ecosystem, which we view as a key driver of Hydreco’s future growth.”

A roofed area of 2,500 square metres

The Bangalore Nelamangala plant spans a covered area of 2500 sqm and is equipped with advanced machinery, expanded assembly lines and modern logistic infrastructure to support high- performance applications in agriculture, construction, and industrial automation. The facility also hosts 800 sqm of offices and will serve as a regional hub for production, training, and engineering support, further embedding Hydreco within the global network of the Daikin Group.

Ananth Bangalore Suryanarayana, Managing Director of Hydreco India, added: “We are proud to open this plant in the heart of Karnataka. It reflects our ambition to grow with our customers, invest in local capabilities, and deliver engineered solutions tailored to India and the wider APAC region.”
