JCB Fastrac chose FPT Industrial N67
FPT Industrial teams up with JCB, supplying its N67 engine (221 kW and 250 kW versions) for two models in the Fastrac 6000 series

The news regarding JCB and FPT Industrial is significant. The Fastrac, the tractor that is as comfortable in the field as it is on the road, has selected FPT’s N67 for its 6260 models (212 kW / 284 hp) and 6300 models (250 kW / 335 hp).
The rationale behind this choice is the recognition of the compactness of the 6.7-liter NEF family engine. A new chassis concept designed for the Fastrac 6000 series features a cast-block front section that supports the engine, the front axle, and the optional front linkage and power take-off (PTO).
The rear structure, made of steel, supports the cab, the transmission, the rear axle and linkage, the hydraulic system, and the rear PTO. The robust casting is sculpted to allow for the tightest possible steering angle on the front axle and is designed to facilitate the mounting of front loader brackets.

The new chassis also contributes to keeping the engine installation as narrow as possible for the best view from the cab to the front wheels and beyond. After all, JCB’s own Stage V-approved engine family only goes up to the 129-kilowatt, 4.8-liter 448 model.
Four-wheel steering is standard and selectable with two or more modes, and the top speed is “Fast” in every sense: 66 km/h (41 mph), where local legislation permits.
Tractor of the Year Finalist

Among the new optional features on this range—a finalist for Tractor of the Year 2026—is a fully integrated tire inflation management system that provides quick access to optimal pressures for both field and road use. Additionally, a satellite guidance installation now features two receivers for faster and more accurate line acquisition, better tracking over undulating field surfaces, and the enabling of ultra-precise Twin Steer guidance which steers both axles.
