Hitachi Zaxis and Isuzu.

A reliable partnership

The Zaxis-7 medium excavators are exceptionally versatile for a wide range of applications. They are equipped with Hitachi’s industry-leading hydraulic system, TRIAS III, and its superior efficiency excels during loading or heavy digging operations. Isuzu is the engine partner. Who is the main character under the top snatch Zaxis-7 excavator bonnet? Its name is Isuzu 6HK1X, a six cylinders in line Diesel engine able to provide 210 kW at 1900 rpm and 1080 Nm available at 1500 rpm. The Japanese engine has been equipped with what it takes to achieve the fateful European homologation. It is powered by the high pressure common rail, waste gate turbocharger with aftercooler, 4 valves per cylinder. The Japanese engineering school has not yet repudiated exhaust gas recirculation, and so on the H series of Isuzu we find Erg, together with DOC and SCR.  Other features? Electric and self-priming fuel lift pump, glow plug starting aid, both side or bottom drain oil pan and SAE B Gear Case PTO as options.
