Bonfiglioli attented iVT Expo 2026, showcasing its latest innovations in the e-mobility sector, which are designed—among others—for construction and agricultural equipment.

The company confirms its role as a full-line provider of electrified motors and final drives, supporting customers in achieving increasingly ambitious efficiency, productivity, and sustainability goals. Bonfiglioli offers tailor-made solutions for both low and high-voltage applications, accompanying the transition toward electrified and hybrid machines, without compromising its consolidated expertise in traditional hydraulic transmission systems.

Among the technologies on display at iVT Expo, Bonfiglioli showcased various advanced e-mobility solutions developed for the construction and off-highway sectors. For excavators up to 20 tons, Bonfiglioli’s flagship product is the electric slewing drive solution, which combines a 700T series planetary gearbox with a BPM series permanent magnet motor. The solution operates in the 400-700 V range and delivers up to a maximum of 60 kW in a compact, fully integrated package optimized for efficiency and performance.

Bonfiglioli also presented the liquid-cooled BPM 200 permanent magnet motor for high-voltage applications. Developed for hybrid or partially electrified machinery, this solution addresses the growing market demand for flexible electrification architectures, particularly in applications where customers are progressively electrifying specific machine functions via electric pump drives.

In the spotlight is the solution for compact track loaders: a drive based on the 705CE gearbox combined with the BPM 240 permanent magnet motor. Designed for compact machinery, the system guarantees high power density while complying with the strict space constraints of compact electric machines destined for urban environments.

Low-Voltage Applications

For low-voltage applications, Bonfiglioli presented its solution for mini-excavators, which integrates the 700T series with the air-cooled BPM 200 motor. Available with IP65 and IP66 protection classes and a rated power of up to 16 kW, this solution is particularly suited for mini-excavators and agricultural machinery, as well as AGV robotic systems, where hybrid electrification via pump drives is gaining traction. Bonfiglioli solutions support OEMs, startups, and R&D departments of large corporations, aiming to satisfy the growing demand for connected and intelligent electric attachments, such as electric hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, and other precision tools typically used for vineyard and orchard maintenance. In this context, the proposed solutions drive the new generation of agricultural attachments, ensuring precision, efficiency, and sustainability.
