FPT announced the global launch of the new F5 Long Block range dedicated to off-road vehicles.
Produced in the Foggia (Italy) and Garchizy (France) plants, the new range expands the Brand´s offering in this segment, joining the current two series, F1A Long Block and F1C Long Block, both dedicated to on-road applications. Factory-assembled using only original components, F5 Long Blocks fully comply with FPT technical specifications and production standards.

To Lower the Costs F5 Long Block Is a Good Option

The F5 Long Block offers an economical repair option – when users need prompt support – by allowing components from the old engine to be transferred to the replacement unit. This helps lower the total operation cost while ensuring a high-quality repair. It also represents the ideal solution for engine workshops: by stocking these units in their warehouse, customers can access replacements immediately, significantly reducing vehicle repair downtime and improving service responsiveness.

Widely referred to as a semi-complete engine, the long block is a partial composition of a complete engine assembly. Manufactured through an optimized industrial process that increases production efficiency, while maintaining the highest quality standards, the F5 Long Block is offered at a very competitive price, without sacrificing performance or reliability. Once assembled, F5 Long Block units are directly shipped to the distribution network, greatly reducing any risk of assembly issues.
