Parker Hannifin will hold its latest “Expert Insights” tech talk on Tuesday 4th June 2024, titled “Mobile Electrification: Myths and Misconceptions”. For the first time in this episode, a guest speaker will be joining the discussion to offer relevant insights alongside a Parker expert.

Moderator Mark Jeffries will interview experienced electrification experts Erik Forsberg, Application Engineering Manager at Parker, and Fredrik Tjernström, Electromobility Solutions Sales Manager at Volvo Construction Equipment. The speakers will present the outcome of the partnership between Parker and Volvo Construction Equipment, unpack a variety of mobile electrification topics, debunk some of the misconceptions around heavy vehicle electrification and consider future trends.

The discussion will focus on the many benefits of electrification and share facts about performance, productivity, and safety. With the transition to electric power as a means of reducing carbon emissions set to become a key energy option in the next decade, fleet managers and OEMs are looking to stay up to date with latest technology and innovations and all the facts regarding heavy machinery electrification. This “Expert Insights” tech talk will help answer these questions and also highlight the importance of collaborating with the right partners on electrification projects.
