AS Labruna called for OEMS, service network and subdealers
AS Labruna summoned OEMs and sudealers from North Africa, the Middle East and the Balkans to its headquarters at the AS Network & Customer Event

Like every good tale, the one that brought AS Labruna closer to the OEMs and its Mediterranean network begins with ‘once upon a time’…
Which OEMs for AS Labruna? If it were a menu it would be terrestrial. Power generation is the main course
AS Labruna is known to most for its marine applications. However, the region of AS is largely made up of OEMs involved in off-highway and, above all, power generation applications. After all, what the southern shore of the Mediterranean, Lebanon, Israel and the Balkans have in common is the need to make up for systemic weaknesses in the electricity grid. Not to mention the need to explore innovative irrigation systems in the desertic areas. A role made easier by FPT Industrial’s leadership in this sector, whether it be F5 compact engines, NEF and Cursor Series. Concerning the other players attending the AS Labruna Network & Customer Event, you only have to enjoy the brief video below.
Amimer Energy at the AS Event for OEMs and service network
The latter is precisely the case of Amimer Energy, an OEM that from Algeria is also applying itself in the challenging mission of bringing water to the Sahara desert. So, in addition to the gensets, AS Labruna is the engine provider of the irrigation motor pumps. In the video we are posting, we also heard the opinions of Kamel Azouaou, managing director of Amimer Energy. The day took place between the traditional headquarters in Monopoli, close to Bari, in south-eastern Italy, and the connection with the other two very close buildings that will soon become fully operational.
Service, the comfort zone of the Italian company and its customers
Prime power generator sets must be reliable by way of definition. The extreme hostility of the land, be it Saharan and sub-Saharan Africa or the twisty Balkan road network, demands inevitable promptness and effectiveness in assistance. And so it is the robustness of FPT Industrial engines, combined with the logistics and supply organization of AS Labruna, that makes the difference.

As far as spare parts are needed, as was explained by the AS technicians, and confirmed by the OEMs attending, AS Labruna’s strong point is having a structured back office: “We have a response time of a maximum of 4 hours from the customer’s request, both for the Italian and foreign markets.”
The event ended with a guided tour of the magnificent historic centre of Monopoli and the display of paintings by Renato Guttuso and Pablo Picasso at the Carlo V castle.
