Danfoss announced the signing of a definitive agreement for the acquisition of Alfagomma, a global manufacturer of hoses and fittings based in Vimercate. The operation supports the strategic objective of accelerating profitable growth in line with Danfoss’s long-term strategy. Alfagomma will become part of the Fluid Conveyance division, one of the key activities of Danfoss Power Solutions, creating a global leader in the Fluid Conveyance sector and further strengthening the group’s capacity to serve customers worldwide.

Founded in 1956, Alfagomma is a globally active company in the production and distribution of hoses and fittings under the ALFAGOMMA, Dunlop Hiflex, and Argus brands. Its products find application in mobile hydraulics, industrial applications, mining and oil & gas sectors, the maritime sector, shipbuilding, and numerous other sectors.

Alfagomma operates globally through 28 production and assembly sites, employs approximately 4,500 people, and generates a turnover of around 600 million euros.

Fluid Conveyance Division

The Fluid Conveyance division of Danfoss Power Solutions produces hoses and fittings for vehicles, aircraft, marine applications, mining, the food and beverage industry, mobile and industrial machinery, and numerous other applications.

This combination will strengthen our capacity to support customers globally and will constitute a solid platform for sustainable and long-term growth,” declared Domenico Traverso, President of the Fluid Conveyance division of Danfoss Power Solutions.

The Board of Liquidators of Alfagomma declared: “This operation represents the positive outcome of a structured process aimed at guaranteeing business continuity and preserving the long-term value of Alfagomma for all its stakeholders. In Danfoss, we have found an important and ideal industrial partner: a leading international group, family-owned, which shares its values and long-term vision, and which has taken a clear commitment to strengthen its activities, support the industrial base, and guarantee stability, growth, and continuous investments in Alfagomma’s people, skills, and operational activities. In our role as liquidators appointed at the end of May 2025, we believe we have completed the mandate entrusted to us, respecting the planned timelines and contributing to guaranteeing a future of continuity and growth for Alfagomma.”

The operation is subject to the necessary regulatory approvals. Completion is expected within the fourth quarter of 2026.
Until the closing, the two companies will continue to operate independently, with particular attention to operational continuity, stability, and maintaining the high level of service that customers expect.
