Dumarey Group to Acquire Mechelen Plant from AUMOVIO
Dumarey Group announces the successful completion of the acquisition of AUMOVIO’s Mechelen location in Belgium, following the intention announced on April 20, 2026
Dumarey Group completed the acquisition of AUMOVIO’s Mechelen location, following the intention announced on April 20, 2026. Under the agreement, the Dumarey Group takes over the Mechelen plant and its approximately 300 employees whilst customer relationships of the existing products remain with AUMOVIO. The production of current components will continue for a defined transition period under a contract manufacturing arrangement.
Aumovio Will Continue to Produce in Belgium
Dumarey will progressively introduce new activities and products. In parallel, AUMOVIO will gradually transfer production to other locations within its network. Goal is to build on Mechelen’s expertise to develop the location further.
Dumarey Group has decided to proceed with this acquisition to strengthen and expand its presence in the European market, enhancing its portfolio with additional technical capabilities.
