Himoinsa, a leading international company in the design and manufacture of power technology solutions, has appointed Jesús Santos as Director of its Power Solutions Business Unit. This new appointment reaffirms Himoinsa’s commitment to becoming a market leader in power generation solutions for special projects, such as mission-critical power supply, data centres, hospitals, airports, IPP and medium voltage. 

Jesús Santos has more than twenty years’ experience in the power generation sector and has held positions of responsibility in companies such as Rolls-Royce, Cummins and Deutz, always focusing on the business development of special projects for critical applications worldwide, primarily in sectors such as data centres, industry, infrastructure, health…  

Himoinsa’s announcement of this new appointment comes at a time when the company is reinforcing its strategic growth plan for its Power Solutions Division, which includes the development of new products and solutions, as well as the opening of a new production centre for this business unit. The company is also committed to strengthening and structuring the various engineering areas involved in these projects, including the acoustic engineering teams, which will play an important role in the development of special projects, thereby offering a comprehensive and unique solution to the market.

The new Director of the Power Solutions Business Unit will have global responsibilities and will work with the Directors of Asia, EMEA and the Americas to define a growth strategy for each region. “I am so excited to be joining Himoinsaand the global team of its parent company Yanmar.
