From September 17th to 22nd, companies from the commercial vehicle, transportation, and logistics sectors will present their innovations at IAA Transportation in Hannover. An initial overview of the participating companies highlights the diverse range of this year’s event.

The positive response from leading companies worldwide underscores the immense commitment of our industry to position itself for the future. As a catalyst for innovation, the exhibitors at IAA Transportation have already set standards in 2022. In 2024, we return – stronger and with an expanded horizon, ready to provide a worthy platform for this progressive industry,” stated Jürgen Mindel, Managing Director of VDA.

IAA Transportation announces increase in exhibitors

The number of registered exhibitors is currently higher than the comparable figure for 2022, and the number of international exhibitors continues to rise. 

Among the suppliers, companies such as Bosch, Continental, DENSO, FORVIA, Magna, MAHLE, MANN+HUMMEL, Schaeffler Technologies, SHIG, Valeo, and ZF Group are present. Leading battery manufacturers like CALB Group Co., CATL, Clarios, EVE, Farasis Energy, and LG Energy Solution will showcase innovative solutions in energy storage. Charging solution providers such as Ekoenergetyka-Polska, i-charging mobilidade elétrica S.A., Milence, Siemens, TotalEnergies Charging Solutions Deutschland, and Udenco will offer insights into the future of charging technology.

Strong presence of truck manufacturers

With F.X. Meiller, Fliegl, Kaessbohrer, Kögel, Krone, and PALFINGER, as well as Rohr Spezialfahrzeuge, Schmitz-Cargobull, Spier, Trailer Dynamics, and Wecon, the global market leaders will showcase their product diversity at the IAA Transportation in Hannover.

In the truck industry, heavyweights like BMC, BYD, DAF, Daimler Truck, Enginius, Ford Trucks, MAN, Hyundai Motor Company, IVECO, JAC MOTORS, Quantron, Superpanther, Scania, Volvo, and others will present their visions for heavy-duty transport. The technology of hydrogen fuel cells will be presented by pioneers such as Air Products, Keyou, and Hexagon Purus.

Return of Kia and Toyota 

In the light commercial vehicle segment, companies like Ford, Hyvia, Kia, Maxus, Piaggio, Renault, Toyota, and VW Commercial Vehicles will showcase their products. The thematic offering of the IAA Transportation is rounded off by tire manufacturers such as Bridgestone, Goodyear, and Michelin. In addition, the German Aerospace Center, Aeva, and Hesai will present future-oriented concept solutions for autonomous driving using advanced LiDAR technologies and ADAS systems (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). Alongside these companies, other technology-focused companies like alphitronic will also exhibit.
