RAMA and John Deere crossed the Balkans and moved from the Adriatic Sea out into the Mediterranean. RAMA announced the extension of its territorial coverage for the representation of John Deere engines, which now includes Greece and Cyprus, in addition to the markets already served (Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia).

Both for industrial and for marine engines together with Petros Petropoulos AEBE

Both Rama Motori and Rama Marine divisions will be involved in this important development, further strengthening the John Deere’s presence across the Mediterranean area. To support this expansion, RAMA has entered into a partnership with Petros Petropoulos AEBE, a Greek company established in Thessaloniki in 1922 and now a leader in numerous sectors: diesel engines, generator sets, automobiles, agricultural and industrial vehicles, marine applications, and much more. Petros Petropoulos will act as official dealer for RAMA in Greece, ensuring a direct and competent presence on the market.

Deere and RAMA in Greece: just the last step

The expansion beyond the Alps into the Balkans dates back to 2022, with the acquisition of the dealership for the former Yugoslavia markets. RAMA Motori was originally synonymous with the name of John Deere Power Systems for Italy, an activity it conducts from its headquarters in Reggio Emilia, in the heart of the Motor Valley (in the same industrial area that concentrates Rehlko and Walvoil within a few kilometers). From the Po Valley to Switzerland and Austria, then the Balkan area up to the Aegean, and two strongholds in the Mediterranean with Malta and Cyprus.
