Rehlko announced it has officially set a GUINNESS World Records title for the fastest time to mow the area of an American football field in a ride-on mower, completing the challenge in 14 minutes, 51 seconds.

The record was achieved on May 16 at the TurfMutt Great Lawn at Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky, under official GUINNESS World Records adjudication and in front of a live public audience.

The attempt was conducted under rigorous, real‑world conditions—including grass maintained at a minimum height of six inches—reflecting the unpredictable, high‑load environments in which Rehlko engines are designed to perform. The result provides independent, third‑party validation of the company’s focus on durability, reliability, and sustained performance under pressure.

Demonstrations like this play a critical role in reinforcing Rehlko’s value proposition to OEM partners and commercial customers, where durability, uptime, and performance directly influence purchasing decisions and total lifecycle cost.

Following a thorough review of the evidence and in accordance with GUINNESS World Records guidelines, I can confirm that this attempt has been successful and a new GUINNESS World Records title has been achieved, with a time of 14 minutes, 51 seconds,” said Michael Empric, Official Adjudicator, GUINNESS World Records .

At Rehlko, energy resilience is proven in real‑world conditions, not controlled environments,” said Eric Fontaine, President, Engines at Rehlko. “Achieving this GUINNESS GUINNESS World Records title validates our engineering approach and reinforces the standards we apply across our portfolio. When performance is tested under pressure, results like this demonstrate the strength, durability, and precision that our OEM partners and professional customers depend on in mission‑critical applications.

The record was powered by Rehlko’s flagship Command PRO 999 cc (41 hp) engine, the most powerful gasoline engine in the company’s portfolio. Designed for professional-duty applications, the platform delivers sustained torque, thermal stability and endurance under continuous heavy load — characteristics that define Rehlko’s broader engine and power solutions across commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure applications.

Professional operator Hali Rieman, known as the “Lawn Queen,” executed the record‑setting run with consistency and precision, reinforcing the importance of skilled operation alongside engineered performance.

We’re proud to have hosted this GUINNESS GUINNESS World Records achievement at Waterfront Park,” said Deborah Bilitski, president and executive director of Waterfront Park. “The TurfMutt Great Lawn once again proved to be a dynamic space for bringing the community together, and this event showcased both innovation and collaboration in a truly unique way.”
