Perkins has appointed Vicki Reeves as global marketing and channel development director. Effective January 1, 2024, Reeves will be responsible for defining and delivering the global marketing plan for the Perkins brand.

Reeves will also lead the global Perkins Distributor Ecxellence program

Vicki, who recently served as product support director, will also lead the global Perkins Distributor Excellence programme and deliver the marketing and rental strategies.

With her deep expertise in marketing, the NPI process and distributor excellence, Vicki is an excellent fit for this position,” said Jaz Gill, vice president and general manager of global sales, marketing, service and parts. “Throughout her career, Vicki has exhibited the ability to create an engaged team and lasting customer relationships while delivering on her commitments – all of which are vital characteristics for our marketing and channel development director, so I’m delighted to have her join my team.

Based out of the Peterborough, UK site, Reeves stated: “I’m passionate about how we market our products and services and create a positive experience for our customers and end users, so when the opportunity arose to lead the marketing and channel development team, I jumped at the chance. With new industrial engines and advanced power solutions rolling out around the world and leading service and support options offered by our distributors, 2024 is set to be an exciting year for the Perkins brand.”  

Jason Kern retires after 36 years’ service

Vicki takes over as global marketing and channel development director from Jason Kern, who retires from the business on December 31, 2023, after 36 years’ service, to spend more time with his family, serve his community and travel around the U.S. in his airplane.
