Bobcat offers numerous accessories for mini excavators and track or wheel loaders dedicated to forestry applications and landscaping and maintenance work. The Bobcat SL FM 85 self-leveling mower, applied on the E27z mini excavator, is designed to cope with the most difficult deforestation of bushes and trees, even on slopes, roads, ditches, paths, river banks and other hard-to-reach places such as pylons, solar panels or behind fences.

Using powerful triple-knife flails, this attachment allows you to mulch small branches, thick grass and other vegetation up to 4 inches in diameter. The side safety chains help contain debris inside the housing and a rubber torsion disc absorbs the shock loads encountered during operation.

The SL FM 85 can be used while driving, with its self-leveling function that allows it to follow the surface perfectly. Once the hydraulics are interrupted, the rotor rotating at full speed stops in less than ten seconds. The SL FM 85 is supplied both in the version with hammers (12) and in the version with knives (24 + 12); the one with hammers allows use in more difficult applications. The cutting width is 850 millimeters, while the weight is 181 kilos.

The Bobcat E27z compact excavator: Kubota under the hood

The Bobcat E27z compact excavator further enhances the already excellent performance of the current E26 model, with the largest cab for this size of machine on the market. Being a true ZHS (Zero House Swing) – even when equipped with the optional heavy counterweight – the E27z model offers maximum flexibility of movement when working close to walls, the best 360 ° stability and a low weight that facilitates the transport. With the optional long arm and premium cab, the E27z offers the digging power and comfort typical of much larger excavators and is therefore the ideal machine for construction companies working in urban environments.

The engine that powers this compact excavator is the three-cylinder Kubota D1105-E4B (Stage V), 15.4 kW at 2,400 rpm and 71.2 Nm of maximum torque. Kubota is highly committed to the protection of the environment and helping to address global water and food scarcity issues. Its engines, lawn mowers and compact construction equipment, precision equipment and materials contribute to urban maintenance.
