JCB is expanding its power generation offer with a new range of electric generators, designed to the construction standards typical of generators operating continuously, the range includes both models with Stage V-compliant engines for mobile applications and models for static applications (uninterruptible power supplies, emergency generators, etc.) for contexts that do not require emission-compliant engines.

JCB GenSets are Mainly Powered by JCB Engines

The machines are equipped with JCB’s award-winning engines, the same ones fitted to most of the machines they are designed to complement, for example, on construction sites. The RS series generators are fitted as standard with Stage V-compliant internal combustion engines and cover a power range from 18 to 300 kVA. The QS series features models covering a power range from 20 to 330 kVA.
The JCB QS and RS series generators are explicitly designed for ‘heavy-duty’ use, as they are the direct result of the British manufacturer’s technical expertise and experience in the construction machinery sector.

Both ranges are designed and built to operate in extreme conditions, with temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C, in dusty, damp or particularly harsh environments. Each model features a steel body and is fully protected by zinc phosphate immersion and a seven-stage painting process for an extremely durable finish.

The generators are fitted with JCB or JCB by Kohler engines – the same power units installed on the manufacturer’s other earthmoving and material-handling machines: the various models are equipped with 4- and 6-cylinder JCB engines for the larger sizes and JCB by Kohler engines for the more compact models.

The efficient JCB engines in the new generator series are complemented by components from the industry’s leading suppliers: Schneider electrical components, a Deep Sea automatic control panel, and Mecc Alte alternators with a high degree of protection. Added to this is compatibility with HVO fuels, ensuring high performance and low emissions, also with a view to environmental sustainability.
Every model is fitted with fork pockets and a central lifting eye, for easy handling even on site. The generator is always ready for immediate operation. The alternator windings are protected from dust and dirt; the robust, high-quality galvanised steel casings ensure strength and longevity.

About Maintenance

Removable hinges allow the doors to be easily dismantled for even simpler maintenance. Maintenance checks can be carried out quickly as all the main service points are located on the same side of the machine.
Sharing engines, spare parts and technical support expertise reduces running costs, simplifies maintenance and ensures a single, consistent support chain. An integrated ecosystem that is worth far more than the sum of its parts. All models in the QS and RS series are covered by JCB’s extended 2-year or 4,000-hour warranty.
JCB generators are available from stock and ready for immediate delivery.
