Kubota Engine America (KEA) made its own debut on pit road with Trackhouse Entertainment Group, putting its reputation for reliability to the ultimate test in one of the most demanding environments in motorsports.

Kubota SUPER MINI for Kubota Generators

At the Darlington Raceway, Trackhouse Racing rolled out a Kubota GL11000-USA generator from the brand’s renowned LOWBOY Series. It’s built around Kubota’s own SUPER MINI diesel engines, the Z482, D722, and D902. The goal? To see if the same dependable performance trusted on farms and job sites could handle the pressure of race day.

The Kubota generator powered the entire pit setup flawlessly. From the massive front-facing display panels to the complex data systems fueling in-race strategy. The team was so impressed they brought it along for a second test at St. Louis, where it performed just as seamlessly.

Next year, the plan is to equip each of Trackhouse Racing’s three teams with a Kubota GL11000-USA generator, plus one backup unit, transitioning away from the previous power source entirely. It’s a powerful endorsement from one of NASCAR’s most forward-thinking teams, and a major moment for Kubota Engine America.

Technology in details

Every detail of the generator supports ease of use and dependability. Its one-side maintenance design simplifies essential checks of oil, fuel, battery, and cooling levels, minimizing downtime and operator effort. The lightweight structure and low height make it ideal for tight or mobile workspaces like pit road, while still offering the quiet, steady output required for sensitive electronics and data systems.

An access terminal for automatic transfer switch (ATS) connection also makes the unit adaptable for stationary or field use, demonstrating the same versatility that Kubota customers rely on across industries.

With Trackhouse Racing

This advancement on pit road strengthens the partnership between Kubota and Trackhouse Racing, which extends through the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series season. In 2025, the Kubota-branded paint scheme was carried by Ross Chastain, Daniel Suárez, and Shane van Gisbergen, each representing the brand across select NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series events.
