Ampere, the intelligent electric EV pure player born from Renault Group, and STMicroelectronics announced a multi-year agreement on the supply of Silicon Carbide (SiC) power modules, as part of their collaboration on a powerbox for the inverter for Ampere’s ultra-efficient electric powertrain.

Bosch is now starting the production of new powertrain solutions based on 800-volt technology. This will make recharging faster and provide a further boost for electromobility.
