Rehlko’s gasoline engines are the stars of DemoDays 2025
The DemoDays 2025 were held at Rehlko's Italian engine headquarters. Now in their third edition, they allowed us to explore EFI technology and gasoline applications in greater depth

Reggio Emilia, at the Italian headquarters of the engine division, presentations and field trials: this is the formula for Rehlko’s DemoDays 2025, just like the previous two editions. The name has changed, previously Kohler, as has the lubrication of the gears. We are referring to the progressive refinement of the mechanisms for managing interventions and presentations, now running like clockwork.
Rehlko petrol engines take centre stage at DemoDays 2025
During DemoDays 2025, lawn care also came under the spotlight at the Rehlko test area. You know those immaculate lawns with perfectly aligned grass that appear in American TV series? In the US, this fuels a considerable business, dominated by gasoline applications. The switch to electronic fuel injection (EFI) has allowed Rehlko to push the torque curve to facilitate harmonious and constant-thrust grass cutting.
The 7000 KT722, a 747 cc unit designed for durability and professional performance, delivers 57 Nm of torque. Its oversized air filter, up to 2.5 times larger than average, extends service intervals. The Command PRO EFI small block ECH730 integrates electronic fuel injection (EFI) and an electronic throttle body to ensure responsive power and fuel efficiency in all conditions. Closed-loop EFI with self-calibration, maintenance-free hydraulic tappets and a sealed fuel system minimise downtime.
Let’s Talk About the Big Block
At the top end of the gasoline portfolio, the Command PRO EFI big block ECV940, Rehlko’s most powerful engine family, features EFI with precise throttle control, closed-loop self-tuning for high-altitude adaptability, and hydraulic lifters for maintenance-free operation.
An optimized cooling fan reduces noise while maximizing airflow, and a six-inch diameter air cleaner ensures long service intervals, making it the engine of choice for demanding professional applications, such as zero-turn radius mowers (ZTR) and other professional machinery.
Just gasoline at the Rehlko DemoDays 2025?
The event spanned both construction and agricultural applications. We will cover the Landini Trekker3 Compact, Fiori’s DF 70 Stage V, Hiab’s MOFFETT M4 NX V, ROTAIR’s MDVN 30 Eco5, TerraTec’s Ibex G3-V, Wacker Neuson’s WL950, and Walker’s Model R in upcoming articles.

So, in addition to the gasoline engines, there will also be room for the KdI and KDS Diesel engines.
