The AS Labruna proposal at METS 2025
AS Labruna unveiled some interesting solutions at METS 2025. Among them, VOLTAB, E-POWER 140, hybrid powertrains and FPT and FNM ICEs
At METS 2025, AS Labruna also presented its most innovative side in the supply of low or zero carbon solutions. The absolute protagonist of the stand was VOLTAB, the 100% electric portable power station developed by Reefilla together with the E-Vision division of AS Labruna, which obtained the Special Mention at the DAME Design Awards 2025 in the Electronic & Electrical Systems category.
VOLTAB by AS at METS 2025
VOLTAB is a completely electric, portable generator, designed and manufactured in Italy, which combines high energy capacity, charging power, compactness, and lightness, with versions equipped with a Type 2 socket and the possibility of integration with solar panels, making it an ideal solution for smart energy management on board and ashore.

Alongside VOLTAB, the AS Labruna stand focused on the new E-POWER 140 electric transmission, conceived for inboard, sterndrive, and waterjet applications, based on a marinized FPT Industrial e-powertrain integrated by AS Labruna. The E-POWER 140 solution was created to offer:
- modular architecture, integrable on different hulls and onboard layouts,
- greater propulsive efficiency compared to traditional systems,
- reduction of noise, vibrations, and emissions during maneuvering and navigation at low speeds,
- full compatibility with series and parallel hybrid systems, range extenders, and new generation battery packs.
FPT and FNM, together under the AS Labruna’s sky
During METS 2025, AS Labruna also presented a selection of FPT and FNM internal combustion engines in an eco-sustainable configuration, included in hybrid systems (such as Power 200 and HK 10), which combine high-efficiency diesel engines with zero-emission electric motors, allowing navigation in sensitive areas while drastically reducing consumption, acoustic emissions, and environmental impact. Another solution is the range extender (HEVOlution 80-37 RE 150), where the diesel works at its point of maximum efficiency to recharge the storage systems and power the electric propulsion and onboard systems.

“The DAME Special Mention for VOLTAB and the interest generated by E-POWER 140 confirm that we are on the right track: intelligent energy systems, electric and hybrid propulsion, concrete solutions to reduce consumption and emissions without sacrificing performance,” declares Massimo Labruna, CEO of AS Labruna. “METSTRADE is the place where the nautical supply chain decides its future: we want to be among those who design this future, not those who passively endure it.”
