SAIM Marine has entered into a distribution agreement with Data Hidrolik, the highly-regarded Turkish firm manufacturing windlasses, mooring capstans, and electric and hydraulic steering systems for a broad range of marine vessels.

Effective from June 1st, SAIM Marine will distribute Data Hidrolik products not only in Italy but also in the UK and the GCC countries, which include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. SAIM Marine will present Data Hidrolik’s comprehensive range of products, with particular emphasis on items for large yachts and commercial vessels.

Data Hidrolik, a pioneer in the design and production of steering systems and deck machinery since 1945, embarked on its journey towards becoming a globally recognized brand in 1979, expanding its product portfolio for various naval platforms.

Now operating under the name Data Hidrolik Machinery Industry, this prominent Turkish enterprise designs and manufactures an array of products for commercial ships, workboats, tugboats, mega yachts, military vessels, and offshore support crafts. The company’s product range includes custom-designed steering and deck machinery systems and equipment, all crafted in its state-of-the-art factory.

With a relentless focus on sustainability and superior quality, Data Hidrolik has achieved various certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 Certification for its Quality Management System and the ISO 45001:2018 Certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems., and CE, in addition to receiving class protector status for its manufactured goods. Its international presence spans over 20 countries, facilitated by a robust network of sales and after-sales services, which fuels its continuous growth.
