Andreas Follér at Traton Group

Last year, our colleagues at Sustainable Truck&Van published an interview with Andreas Follér dealing with several hot topics: from the possibilities and challenges of electrification in the truck sector to the prospects on fuel cells, up to the efforts Scania is putting on R&D of internal combustion engines to make the above-mentioned transition smoother and cleaner. Here’s the full interview.

In 2022, Traton announced higher investments in e-mobility, up to 2.6 billion euro by 2026, in order to push on zero-emission vehicles. At the same time, the international group announced that “the share of conventional drives in the product development budget will be scaled back accordingly”.
