Dacke Industri has successfully acquired G-TEK AB, a leading provider of optimal Powerpack installations for OEM manufacturers of mobile vehicles across northern Europe. On December 12th, 2024, Dacke Industri completed the acquisition of 98% of G-TEK’s shares, while the current management will continue to hold the remaining shares.

The strategic acquisition of G-TEK enhances growth by broadening our comprehensive offerings to OEM customers. This acquisition aligns with our long-term ambition to grow alongside companies that specialize in their own products and customized components and systems. By incorporating the expertise and knowledge shared by similar companies into our group within Dacke Industri, we are well-positioned to deliver substantial value to our customers and partners. G-TEK will become part of the Special Technology division.

G-TEK is a leading provider of optimal Powerpack installations tailored for OEM manufacturers of mobile vehicles throughout northern Europe. Known for its dedication to excellent technical solutions and outstanding service, G-TEK serves a variety of industries, including mining, material handling, forestry, defense, and railways. The customers are mostly premium vehicle manufacturers, many of whom are global leaders in technological innovation. They maintain a global presence, delivering to production facilities worldwide, while fostering long-term collaborations with technical development teams primarily based in Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Finland. It has its headquarters in Järfälla, Sweden and sites in Motala, Sweden and Evergem, Belgium with about a total of 40 employees and an annual turnover of about SEK 175 million.

It is very exciting to take this next step for G-TEK’s future and become part of Dacke Industri. Dacke Industri is a very strong and competent owner, and we together see great possibilities to develop further and expand the G-TEK business,” says Thomas Larsson, CEO and part-owner of G-TEK.

With Dacke Industri entering as a new owner, G-TEK secures long-term ownership, which will bring great benefits to G-TEK’s customer base, suppliers, and employees – while G-TEK continues to grow and expands its current business in all segments. I could not wish for a better future for G-TEK AB,” says Johan Amnéus, Former owner and chairman of G-TEK.

Acquiring G-TEK is another key step in our efforts to become an essential partner to OEMs, supplying end-users worldwide with premium products. G-TEK’s customer base is exciting, and they operate in areas we are very familiar with. By partnering with G-TEK, we are open to deeper cooperation with certain segments we value very highly and know we can bring value to. We are very happy that Johan saw the strengths we can bring to G-TEK long term,” says Lars Fredin, Group CEO and President of Special Technology of Dacke Industri and chairman of G-TEK.
