Deutz and Tytan are cooperating to reaffirm German leadership within the RePower Europe program. Deutz is continuing its reorganization in drone applications alongside Tytan Technologies, for the development and industrialization of innovative energy and drive technologies for drone defense systems.

The partnership in details

As part of the partnership, the companies intend to collaborate on providing suitable drive solutions for interceptor drones, on the development and supply of modular, decentralized energy systems and battery systems for launcher applications, as well as on the assembly and final acceptance of technical subsystems.

In addition, Deutz has also taken a financial stake in Tytan Technologies, thereby underlining the long-term importance of the collaboration. Through this investment, Deutz further strengthens its position in the growing market for unmanned defense systems.

With this agreement, Deutz is further expanding its activities in the field of security- and defense- relevant mobility and energy solutions. The company has many years of experience in the development of robust drive systems, mobile power generation, energy storage, and the industrial implementation of complex technical solutions and is already supporting armed forces worldwide in ensuring operational readiness.

According to the CEOs of Deutz and Tytan

With the partnership and investment in Tytan Technologies, we are further strengthening our position as a provider of modern drive and energy systems in the defense sector. Tytan Technologies contributes outstanding expertise in AI-supported drone defense. As an industrial partner, we support the development, industrialization, and integration of complex drive and energy systems – always with the aim of bringing new technologies into series production quickly,” says Sebastian Schulte, CEO of Deutz AG. “The acquisition of drive specialist Sobek and the strategic partnership and stake in ARX Robotics have already made this clear.

Balázs Nagy, CEO & Co-Founder of Tytan Technologies, adds: “Deutz will support us with industrial expertise and capacities to secure our supply chain within Europe and to further ramp up production. We firmly believe in the synergies that arise from working with a strong industrial partner like Deutz”.
