Linz Electric and KW Generator boost the European energy infrastructure with a synergetic operation between the two sides of the Alps. An active member of the Pedrollo Group on the generation front, Linz Electric is projecting its expertise from the Veneto region in north-eastern Italy, where alternators are at home, to just a few kilometres from Stuttgart, where KWG acts in osmosis with the know-how of that area.

Linz Electric has acquired 60% of KW Generator

The alternator ranges of the two companies are complementary. This integration aggregates competencies within a single gravitational pole, which is a global candidate for every application requiring energy: from traditional gensets to energy transition support systems, from mobile refrigeration to earthmoving machinery to all solutions for machinery that needs energy in a reliable and flexible continuous manner. Linz Electric’s well-established global distribution network within the Pedrollo Group, together with its direct subsidiary in the United States, is an important driver in opening up new markets and customer segments for KW Generator.

A statement reinforced by Giulio Pedrollo, CEO of Gruppo Pedrollo and founder of Linz Electric: “After years of collaboration, I am excited about the opportunities this transaction offers: the partnership between Linz Electric and KWG is a clear example of how international cooperation between companies that share values, vision and expertise can generate new opportunities for growth and development.
