Giuseppe Corcione, the CEO of Reinova, does one and thinks a hundred, as the agreement signed between Reinova and ZF Test Systems suggests. The primary objective of the partnership is to combine the two entities‘ distinctive skills: Reinova’s application experience and strategic knowledge in testing and validation processes, with ZF Test Systems’ ability to develop and industrialise large-scale test systems.

Hardware or software, the agreement between ZF Test Systems and Reinova does not change

This synergy will focus on the development of new hardware and software testing platforms, as well as innovative operating methodologies for key components such as cells, modules, battery packs, and power electronics — all in response to growing demands for safety, reliability, and ahead of future regulations.

This collaboration with ZF Test Systems marks a crucial step for Reinova,” said Giuseppe Corcione, CEO of Reinova. “We are combining our agility and deep expertise in testing methodologies — which has always enabled us to anticipate market needs — with the industrial strength and scalability of a global leader like ZF. Together, we will not only develop new advanced testing machines, but also define more effective usage methodologies to optimize processes and reduce development costs for our customers.”

Speeding up testing, and consequently the time to market

The partnership is set to deliver tangible benefits to the entire mobility sector. Among the key synergies is a significantly faster execution in the development of testing solutions — anticipating customer demands rather than reacting to immediate needs. This proactive approach, combined with Reinova’s experience in developing customized test benches and ZF’s expertise in industrializing repeatable and scalable products, will address three fundamental paradigms: compliance with new regulations, increased safety, and reduced validation costs.
The collaboration will focus on creating tests that effectively replicate real-life product conditions, thereby ensuring greater reliability and performance — a crucial factor in responding to innovation challenges, including those emerging outside of Europe.
