Magni TH Mild Hybrid Range Works at High Altitude
Magni TH Enhances Efficiency at Heights with its Mild Hybrid range Powered by Kubota Engines and Battery Packs
Mild hybrid technology is also gaining ground in the latitudes and altitudes of Magni TH. The Italian company introduced the new Mild Hybrid powertrain for aerial platforms.
Magni Chosen Kubota for its Mild Hybrid Aerial Platform Series
The Mild Hybrid system combines an 18.2 kW Kubota diesel engine with a lithium-ion battery pack, with the two energy sources working in synergy to efficiently manage the available power. This translates into tangible benefits for operators and rental companies: lower fuel consumption compared to diesel-only solutions, greater versatility of use and a machine suited to different working environments, even where energy efficiency is an increasingly important factor.
The range consists of three families: MHAB articulated models include the MHAB16RT, MHAB18RT, MHAB20RT, MHAB22RT and MHAB24RT, with working heights ranging from 16.27 m to 24.27 m and load capacities of up to 320 kg; the articulated boom enables the machine to clear obstacles and operate in complex areas, while maintaining stability thanks to its low centre of gravity.
MHTB Telescopic
MHTB16RT, MHTB18RT, MHTB20RT, MHTB22RT and MHTB24RT have working heights ranging from 16.33 m to 24.20 m and load capacities of up to 320 kg. This range is ideal where horizontal reach, precision and direct access at heights are required.

The range is completed by the MHS1523RT and MHS1823RT rough terrain scissor lift models, designed to combine high load capacity and productivity. The MHS1523RT model offers a working height of 15 m, a load capacity of 680 kg and can accommodate up to 7 operators; the MHS1823RT reaches 18 m, with a load capacity of 680 kg and up to 4 occupants. These solutions are particularly suitable for tasks that require platform space, equipment and multiple operators working simultaneously.
In terms of applications, the Mild Hybrid range is used across numerous sectors. The articulated models are ideal for construction sites, industrial maintenance, plant engineering and work in obstacle-rich areas, where the ability to “clear” structures is crucial.
The telescopic models are suited to façades, construction, installations and maintenance at heights where reach and precision are required. The rough terrain scissor lifts, on the other hand, are ideal for construction sites, outdoor logistics, industrial installations and maintenance over large areas, thanks to their combination of high load capacity, robustness and platform working space.
