Kawasaki Engines Europe. Richard Harris

In recent months Kawasaki Engines Europe has reorganized its sales framework. Towards the end of last year Richard Harris was appointed by Kawasaki to lead their Sales department following eight years as European Business Development Manager. He takes responsibility as Head of Sales for all engine business across Kawasaki’s European trading area, including parts of the Middle-East and Africa.  He reports to Senior Product Manager, Andy Pringle. Commenting on the move, Richard Harris said: «I am delighted to expand my role with Kawasaki at an important time for the Engines business.  We are continually advancing our product range and have a number of state of the art products and enhancements in the pipeline that I am excited to bring to our OEM partners.»

«I look forward to building closer relationships with European manufacturers and expanding the range of high quality equipment powered by Kawasaki Engines», he continued.


Andy Pringle, Senior Product Manager, Engines Division, added, «Richard brings with him a wealth of Engine and Garden Machinery industry experience and product knowledge.  Having worked closely with European manufacturers and our service network over the past eight years, he is ideally qualified to lead the sales team to help and support our customers

We had to wait a few months to replace Harris in his previous role. Is Mark Mitchell the new European Business Development Manager.  He fills the role previously undertaken by Richard Harris, following his promotion to Kawasaki’s Head of Sales in October last year. Reporting to Richard, Mark will be responsible for OEM and distributor relationships across Kawasaki’s European trading area, also covering parts of the Middle East and Africa.

Andy Pringle, Product Manager and head of Kawasaki Engines in Europe, commented on the move, «Mark joins us with extensive experience in the lawn and garden machinery industry. Having worked for both OEMs and distributors, he is ideally qualified to support our existing customer and distributor relationships, as well as seeking new business opportunities to support future sales growth.»

Commenting on his appointment, Mark said, «I am delighted to join the team at Kawasaki and look forward to building profitable relationships with manufacturers and distributors across Europe.
