Cummins is getting ready to lay its solutions for the Euro 7 on the table at the IAA in Hanover. Jennifer Rumsey, Chair and CEO of Cummins, set the record straight: “As the commercial vehicle industry in Europe moves closer to Euro 7 and CO2 HDV regulations, power technology decisions become tougher and more complex. We’re focused on delivering a broad range of industry-leading power solutions that reduce tailpipe and greenhouse gas emissions today, while delivering the performance, reliability and total cost of ownership our customers and the wider transportation industry need to run their businesses. These power solutions highlight Cummins’ commitment to its Destination Zero strategy, which seeks to advance engine-based technologies while expanding zero-emissions offerings and our wider powertrain capability. This approach enables our industry to match technology availability with infrastructure readiness, while ensuring our OEM customers can approach upcoming European regulations practically, flexibly and with multiple options.”
