Scania is heading into SMM 2026 in Hamburg with its marine power solutions in the spotlight, including the marine version of its 13-litre engine, winner of the 2023 Diesel of the Year award and a flagship of the company’s power solutions range. Built on the Scania Super platform, the DI13 delivers improved efficiency, higher performance, and increased durability, helping reduce fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and operating costs.

Scania Sails to Hamburg also Electric Power

At SMM Scania will also present its electrification offering, including hybrid power solutions and industrial battery technology as part of its long-term strategy to support the marine industry’s transition towards lower-emission operations. Together with its combustion engine portfolio, these technologies contribute to a flexible range of solutions that can be adapted to different operational requirements.

In addition to its power solutions, Scania will highlight its service offering, including maintenance solutions that help customers improve uptime, operational efficiency, and long-term performance.
