A few days ago, we took part in the Bauma Media Dialog at the Munich Trade Fair Congress Center, an opportunity for the trade press to meet some of the companies (about 140 out of 3,500) that will be exhibiting at Bauma in April. We will talk about it in detail on this site and in the magazine.

Cummins will bring the flagship of its agnostic strategy, the X15, to Bauma Munich, along with the QSK60 and the Meritor MOX E8 telehandler axle

Cummins announced the acquisition of assets of First Mode, a company active in retrofit hybrid solutions for mining and rail operations. The acquisition includes hybrid mining and rail product lines, and the full IP portfolio which includes hydrogen and battery powertrain solutions.

Cummins and Liberty Energy announced that the industry’s first natural gas variable speed, large displacement engine to power Liberty’s digiPrime hydraulic fracturing platform will be deployed in the first half of 2025. The companies entered into a strategic partnership in June 2024.

Commercial engines need advanced technology to be efficient and meet strict emissions standards. Therefore, Cummins offers various turbo technologies, like fixed, variable, and two-stage turbos, all designed to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

“We achieved strong sales and profitability in the third quarter, led by improvement in our Power Systems and Distribution businesses, and have adjusted our full year projection for EBITDA percentage to be at the top end of the prior range,” said Jennifer Rumsey, Chair and CEO of Cummins.

At Eurobus 2024, Cummins promoted its turnkey like-for-like engine replacement service that can be incorporated into a service agreement.

Accelera by Cummins, the zero-emissions business segment of Cummins, celebrated the opening of its new electrolyzer manufacturing plant in Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. The sustainably designed facility is expected to create 150 highly skilled jobs in the region.
