Deutz is contributing to the agricultural sector’s shift toward greater climate neutrality. Among the solutions presented in Hanover, the TCG 7.8 H2 hydrogen engine, set to go into volume production at the end of 2024, and the new TCD 5.1 and TCD 7.7 engines

Deutz is maintaining its growth trajectory and can look back on a successful third quarter, with revenue rising by 11 percent and adjusted EBIT climbing by around 30 percent to approximately €30 million.

Deutz has acquired full ownership of the Diesel Motor Nordic Group (DMN) with effect from October 2, 2023. Founded in 1956, the DMN Group sells and maintains engines for industrial applications.

Yanmar CE has built the 16,000th wheeled excavator at its German plant in Crailsheim. It is a B110W with an operating weight of 11 tonnes, equipped with the Deutz TCD3.6

Deutz has welcomed a new intake of apprentices, with three young women and 33 young men embarking on apprenticeships in six vocations at the engine manufacturer. The apprentices at the site in Herschbach started on August 1, while those in Cologne and Ulm started on September 1.

Deutz maintained its growth trajectory in the first half of 2023: adjusted EBIT rises by almost 50 percent to €62.5 million, revenue increases by 10.0 percent.

Deutz chooses automotive supplier Mahle to supply hydrogen engine components. Full production for stationary application will start in 2024.
